liwan: liwan (liwan)
面一旦不修饰,则尘垢秽之;
夫面之不饰,愚者谓之丑;
故览照拭面,则思其心之洁也;
傅脂则思其心之和也;
加粉则思其心之鲜也;
泽发则思其心之顺也;
用栉则思其心之理也;
立髻则思其心之正也;

This is a morale conduct written in Eastern Han Dynasty era, mostly believed it was originally written by Cai Yong, and then many writers adopt them, modified and so. It was known that Li Wan left this morale conduct to her daughters because she was exiled to faraway land.

The point about this writing is about how women should behave, despite how important their looks are, to have the inner beauty is a must.
